the evolution of awi

Growing up, Anna-Wooten was surrounded by southern influences including both of her grandmothers who each had an eye for design.

Walking through vacant residences and new builds with her father, a real estate broker, she has been dreaming of turning houses into homes for her clients since childhood. Anna-Wooten graduated from North Carolina State University’s College of Textiles where she developed her unique eye for all things fabric and their distinctive properties. In 2010 she moved to Atlanta where she worked in the design industry for the next five years.

In 2016, she founded A. Wooten Interiors and has been working independently on residential projects up and down the east coast. She resides in Buckhead with her husband, Randall, her daughter, Lucy, her son, Watson, and miniature dachshund, Mabel. Her work has been featured in Atlanta Homes + Lifestyles, Atlanta Magazine, Modern Luxury, and Flavors Magazine.
